Hua Hin International School (HHIS)

HHIS opened in 2015 and remains one of the most well-regarded schools in Hua Hin. Following a UK curriculum and located next to Black Mountain Golf Course, HHIS is a fully accredited IB World School offering IGCSE and International Baccalaureate programs.

Recent updates include the expansion of their sports facilities and the launch of new academic enrichment programs. The atmosphere is inclusive and warm, and students thrive in both academics and extracurricular activities.

Beaconhouse Yamsaard International School (BYIS)

Conveniently located off Soi 94 in central Hua Hin, BYIS offers a bilingual curriculum with an emphasis on Cambridge English. The school blends a Thai education framework with international teaching methods and boasts a cozy, community-driven learning environment.

Parents praise the nurturing setting and strong foundational learning, especially for younger students. The campus is continually modernizing with small class sizes and individual attention.

British Educational Children’s Centre (BECC)

BECC is a small, creative international school housed within the Vic Patravadi Performing Arts campus. The school follows a UK curriculum with a play-based philosophy and encourages independent learning.

Students benefit from nature-filled grounds, artistic exposure, and a personalized approach. While Thai language instruction is less rigorous than other schools, BECC’s warm community and artistic focus make it a popular choice for early years and primary education.

The Hub Hua Hin (NEW – Opening Soon!)

“A Bold New Vision for Creative & Innovative Education in Hua Hin”

Launching in 2025, The Hub is Hua Hin’s newest and most progressive international learning space. Designed with a focus on experiential, project-based education, The Hub promises to integrate STEAM subjects (science, tech, engineering, art, math) into its everyday curriculum.

Founded by passionate educators and community leaders, The Hub will offer:

• A collaborative learning model for ages 5 to 15
• A dynamic campus filled with art, innovation, nature, and sports
• Emphasis on creativity, wellbeing, and real-world problem solving

The school is currently enrolling for its first term and promises to deliver an innovative alternative to traditional classrooms.

Vic Patravadi School (Performing Arts High School)

Located within the same creative campus as BECC, this high school focuses on theater and performing arts. From stage production to costume design, every student receives hands-on training in various artistic disciplines.  The head school mistress and ultra-talented and famous Ms. Lek Patravadi was recently seen HBOs 3rd season of White Lotus.  Sooo Cool!

Annual plays and musicals are school-wide productions and draw rave reviews. Perfect for teens with creative flair.

Patravadi Elementary School

Also located on the Vic campus, this primary school blends Thai education with creative expression. Students enjoy a strong Thai curriculum in a nature-inspired setting. Facilities are excellent and the learning environment is supportive and holistic.

Salesian School Hua Hin

A Catholic school with a long-standing reputation, Salesian offers education from nursery through high school. With a strong focus on Thai language, math, and science, it is known for academic rigor but has limited English-language instruction.

While not ideal for international students seeking full English immersion, it remains a respected and affordable choice for many families.

Somtawin School

Somtawin International School is located in West Hua Hin. It offers a bilingual program and has long served families looking for an international high school in Hua Hin. Feedback is mixed, though recent upgrades in staff and curriculum have improved its standing.

Halio: Hua Hin Alternative Learning International Organization

Halio is a small, alternative school with a focus on self-directed learning. Located northwest of Hua Hin, it emphasizes independence, curiosity, and mixed-age learning environments. Halio remains a popular choice among parents seeking a more Montessori-like or democratic school experience.

📍 Note: Halio has recently stopped accepting new students in the upper year levels (13–18).
